The Unnewsletter

Most email “newsletters” today seem to be fashionably long. Too long. Ours aren’t. In fact they’re usually pretty short. Often just a few paragraphs and a list or two.

Easy to ignore

Our news is easy to read, understand, and ignore if you want. There’s never anything too deep or technical. Typically just a random observation, common myth debunked, or frequent question answered. You won’t lose sleep over anything you read here.

Who’s it for?

Our “news” is intended for small-business owners looking for a better understanding of website design and online marketing. There’s no double-talk, no jargon, no sales pitch. If you’re a pro or a know-it-all, you’ll probably find it boring.

When do you send it?

We usually deliver these tidbits on the fourth Wednesday of every month. On rare occasions, you might hear from us in between our monthly messages. To subscribe, you can use the signup form below, or the one in the footer of any page.

One more thing

We don’t believe in bribing folks. You won’t be getting any ebook, cheatsheet, swipe file, playbook, blueprint, top-ten list, email course, or mastermind invitation. So don’t go looking for a download link. Oh, and you didn’t sign up for some annoying “nurture” campaign either — So we won’t be dripping on you. Ever.

Thanks for being tempted.

Could your website design be better? Find out

1989
"I'd like to get back to an important point: simplicity. Both HTML and HTTP are breathtakingly simple. This kind of elegance allows for versatility, it allows for universality. And the best part is — the online catalog viewer, the transfer protocol, the web server software — all of it is free."
